Sire Lodge is located in southern Alberta, Canada just south of Cardston, Alberta. We offer these benefits to our clients:

• Located in an area of Alberta with a low population of livestock or wildlife in the immediate surrounding area. Also with perimeter fencing to reduce the risk of such nearing the barn area and spreading illness or disease.
• Located in Canada, which has one of the highest animal health statuses in the world. Semen can be exported throughout the world.
• Located approximately 2½ hours south of Calgary airport and 40 minutes west of the Lethbridge airport, it is easily accessible to clients.
• Ability to house over 300 bulls in individual pens and group housing.
• Two collection areas, fully equipped and linked to the Semen Processing Lab by pneumatic tube which allows the semen to be processed immediately upon collection.
• Fully equipped Semen Processing Lab. Semen quality is carefully monitored and only high quality semen is frozen.
• Bull and handler safe handling facilities, well designed and built from heavy steel piping.
• Separate quarantine barn for incoming bulls.
• Ability to store several million doses of semen.
• Highly qualified and experienced staff that take pride in the care of the bulls and the production of high quality semen.
• Staff experienced in the preparation of semen, documentation and all coordination for shipments within Canada and worldwide.
• Stud Veterinarian experienced in bull health and available to advise staff 24 hours per day on the health of the bulls.
• Inspected and approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) who visit the facility weekly to consult with staff.
• Semi-annual health tests for all bulls to ensure export eligibility of the semen is maintained and the health of the bulls monitored. Also additional testing as required by specific import countries is done as needed.
